LA County Awards $16 Million To Vanessa Bryant Over Kobe Bryant Crash Photos

LA county would pay $16 million to Vanessa Bryant fulfilling the order made by the Los Angeles jury in a trial on Wednesday over the crash photos of Kobe Bryant, his daughter and others who died in a 2020 helicopter crash.


While speaking during the trial, Vanessa Bryant told the jury that she lives "in fear every day" of the crash photos of her husband and daughter becoming public, and that it might get in the hands of her surviving daughters someday.

Moreover, the jury also ordered a payment of $15 million to be given to Vanessa Bryant's co-defendant Chris Chester, whose wife Sarah and daughter Peyton were killed in the helicopter crash and suffered the same damage from the photos taken on the site.
